Assalamualaikum and a very good evening to all. :D
As I write this, I was wondering some of the IT jobs that is available in Malaysia. Then I came across Esri which was introduce from my cousin a few months back. I wonder what it is, so I've done some of the research about it. For IT and Geometrical student, you're in the right place to seek for a job, because GIS is the most demand job so far (as I heard).
Have you ever wonder a world without a map? Did you know how people gain information about the weather and display it to our television with colors? Have you once in a while check the mall's map when you're lost inside a mall? Have you notice there's different colors that represent something?
That's GIS, which is stands for Geographic Information System. As you can see the above picture, that's one of the examples of GIS. According to Esri website:
"A geographic information system (GIS) integrates hardware, software, and data for capturing, managing, analyzing, and displaying all forms of geographically referenced information.
GIS allows us to view, understand, question, interpret, and visualize data in many ways that reveal relationships, patterns, and trends in the form of maps, globes, reports, and charts.
A GIS helps you answer questions and solve problems by looking at your data in a way that is quickly understood and easily shared.
GIS technology can be integrated into any enterprise information system framework."
So, what's the benefit of using GIS? There's a lot of benefit in different fields. Among the are:
Business:

With GIS, students and faculty can integrate and evaluate data from many sources to develop new theories and knowledge. This helps prepare students to meet the demands of the twenty-first-century workforce, whether they are involved in science, government, or business. Libraries, museums, schools, and universities are also increasingly using GIS for resource management, facilities management, and advanced research. Now here's comes another question: What do GIS Professionals do?
I've been talking about maps, but GIS career is more than that. GIS professionals visualize, analyze, and model our world to help organizations make informed decisions.
GIS careers typically include responsibilities such as:
- Cartographic design
- Data analysis
- Computer programming
- Database administration
- Project management
- System administration
So, if you're looking for a job in the future for Computer Science and Geometrical students, GIS might be the job for you. If you need more information, just visit Esri or Esri Malaysia's website.

Assalamualikum and a very good day to all~
Do you ever wonder "What if when I install a software, would my computer crash?" That's where System Restore Point comes in handy. In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to create your very own 'time machine' for your PC and how to use it when you need it.
First of, right-click from your computer and select 'Properties'. Alternatively, you could access it by Control Panel -> System And Security -> System.
After that, click 'System Protection'
It will show something like this. Click 'Create'
Now, it will ask you the name of your System Restore Point. I suggest name it something that you could remember such as:
Now, just create it. It would take a while, but it shouldn't be long.
When it's done, it will show you a message that the system restore point was created successfully.
You now have your own time machine! Now, if you blow your PC up, it's time to go back in time where you didn't blow your PC. To do this, there's a lot of ways. To do this, you can just type 'system restore' in your Start menu search box, and you'll immediately see 'System Restore at the top of the menu.
Alternatively, go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore.
Your choice.
Choose 'Choose a different restore point' to choose your created restore point.
Now, choose whatever you think when is the last time before you blow up your PC. In my case, before I stared using my Black Rock Shooter theme.
You could see if it is you who created a restore point by looking at the Type. It will show 'Manual'.
Now, click Finish, have a cup of tea, and you'll go back in time.
Don't worry about your file. The only changes is the system, not the content of your file. For example, after you created a system restore point, then after a few minutes, you downloaded a song. Then you use System Restore. Don't worry, the file didn't deleted, and it will stay intact exactly where the file is.
